Further along the rabbit hole, in 1999 we moved to Further along the rabbit hole, in 1999 we moved to the ground floor of the building, I took care of all the drawings and supervision needed for the transformations of the apartment, I started a garden on the terrace, in the entrance I painted a sky on the ceiling and started murals (still unfinished 22 years later!). I had planned a whole Swedish gustavian style painted program but still three munchkins to take care of so it didn’t happen. My hands were always full with more urgent things to do and I was so exhausted I stopped taking commissions. And then trompe-l’œil fell out of fashion.
Nevertheless, art kept calling me like mermaids in the sea, my artistic odyssey was not over. To meet more interior and poetic thoughts I explored ink painting with a Chinese artist.

Another fairytale, my last scenography, almost 30 Another fairytale, my last scenography, almost 30 years ago, was for an exhibition at the Musée de Carouge under the title: Au Pays des Fées. I have unfortunately no pictures except these from the fairy library. The article was written in the Tribune de Genève by the art critic Étienne Dumont who now writes a witty but pretty unforgiving column in Bilan Magazine. Glad he didn’t scorch me then! #walkingdiwnmemorylane #fairyland #creativeadventures

to see such incredibly beautiful stories, amazing artists and shows. It was the most enchanting little theatre founded by Marcelle Moynier in her home in Geneva. It felt like falling into a pot of magic potion, I have been in love with puppets, decors and art in every form ever since. The theatre has moved since and become a public institution. I collaborated as a painter with the new theatre on a few shows, then imagine my joy when I was honored to be hired by John Lewandowski, the director at that time, as a scenographer for two plays. First in 1994 La Vision, a wonderful tale telling about the Hopi Tribe. I was still in the clinic giving birth to our third child for the show premiere #sograteful #walkingmemorylane #johnlewandowski #irinaniculescu #christophekiss #marionnettesdegeneve #puppettheatre #marionnettes #stringpuppets #creativeadventures #artislife
